PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Cuttack was established in the civil sector in the year 1980. It functioned at circuit House , Nuapatana, Cuttack before being shifted to another temporary site at CB- 4, Cantonment Road, Cuttack in the year 1994.
A full fledged B- 1 type permanent building was constructed at CDA Sector- 1 Bidanasi , Cuttack over the land measuring 7.0 acrcs provided by Govt. of Orissa.
The school has been functioning in its permanent building since June – 2006.
