Jal Pakhwada 2025(16th to 30th April) : A Step Towards Water Conservation

As per instruction of Ministry of Education, PMSHRI KV NO1 CUTTACK is observing Jal Pakhwada from 16th to 30th April 2025 ensuring focused participation of students, teachers and parents with all stakeholders to promote Water conservation, setting up Jal Shakti Kendra intensive afforestation and awareness generation in schools.
Following participatory activities will be undertaken during this period:
1. Jal Shapath will be organized by all schools and educational institutions on the first working day of the pakhwada and during morning assemblies every day, wherein all students and teachers/staff will participate.
2. Holding meeting of SMC/PTAS or workshops in the first week of the Pakhwada to highlight the importance of “Water Conservation”in school as well as home.
3. Debates/Essay/Quiz competition will be held for students for conserving water in schools’ Painting competition for students, teachers and parents.
