PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Cuttack was established in the civil sector in the year 1980. It functioned at circuit House, Nuapatana, Cuttack before being shifted to another temporary site at CB- 4, Cantonment Road, Cuttack in the year 1994.A full-fledged B- 1 type permanent building was constructed at CDA Sector- 1 Bidanasi , Cuttack over the land measuring 7.0 arcs provided by Govt. of Orissa. The school has been functioning in its permanent building since June – 2006.
it has got 37 classrooms, Computer, Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics Lab. Resource room, Junior Science Lab, Art & Craft Lab, Music Room, Language Lab Etc. Separate rooms are for Principal, Vice-Principal, Headmaster &amp, Staff Room for the teaching Staff. At present 11 staff quarters have been constructed.
The present student strength of the Vidyalaya is 1971 & the strength of the staff members stands at 54. the school provides education from class I to XII with both science and Commerce stream at +2 level. The school is affiliated with CBSE Board, New Delhi.
