Genesis

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No-1 Cuttack was established in the civil sector in the year 1980. It is situated on the river bank of Kathajodi. The picturesque site and blossoming green environment makes the campus free from pollution. The campus is spread over 7 acres of lush green land. We have a well ventilated school structure with safe and hygienic indoors and outdoors. The school has a permanent B-1 type structure and has been functioning in its own building since June 2006 . The school is affiliated with CBSE Board,New Delhi.It is having three storied building with 37 classrooms and 08 toilets. There are number of evergreen lawns and children park, mathematical garden, play ground, badminton court, basket ball court, gymnasium in addition to Computer, Physics , Chemistry , Biology ,Maths Lab,Resource room, Junior Science Lab, Art and Craft Lab, Music Room, Language Lab etc.
