PM SHRI KV No.1 Cuttack has a strength of 50 NCC cadets of Junior Division in session 2024-25 under 1(O) Med Coy NCC Cuttack. Institutional training conducted at Vidyalaya level which is the mainstay of NCC training and is conducted by Associate NCC Officer S/O Prakash Chandra Sahoo. Institutional training includes basic military training to the cadets and to expose young cadets to a ‘regimental way of life’ which is essential to inculcate in them the values of discipline, duty, punctuality, orderliness, smartness, respect for the authorities, correct work ethos, and self- confidence.
The Bharat Scout and Guide wing of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Cuttack joined movement in 1994. The Wing comprises of 20 Adult Leaders, Scouts, 70 Guides, 150 Cubs and 181 Bulbuls. The motto for cubs and bulbuls is “Do your Best” and for Scouts &Guides is “Be prepared “. The scouters and guiders take part in various awareness programs as swachhta abhiyan, global hand wash day, world aids day, world cancer day etc.
